Hi, my name is Sensei James and I am glad you are here.

My background includes 38+ years experience in the martial arts.  I am 4th degree black belt in Hapkido and a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo.

I have served as an AAU (American Athletics Union) certified martial arts coach and tournament judge, owned a chain of martial art schools in Hawaii,  and authored the bestselling book, BULLY PROOF:  How to Stop Bullying and Gain Black Belt Confidence.

In my free time, I love playing chess, flying airplanes, and spending time with my family.

The purpose of this site is to help students reach their fullest potential.  Each of us is far more capable than we think we are.  We are stronger than we think and smarter than we realize.

My mission is to issue 1,000,000 "passports" to better, more enriching lives.
